Nicole Messuri is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who integrates foundational principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with psychotherapy for individuals and families. She is also foundationally trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for children (DBT‑C). She specializes in treating adults with anxiety, depression, and Borderline Personality Disorder and children (ages 6-12) experiencing emotion and behavior dysregulation related to Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and parent-child relational challenges. Drawing on her extensive training in DBT, DBT-C, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Parent Behavior Management Training, Nicole helps clients improve emotional regulation, impulse control, flexible thinking, parent effectiveness and family dynamics. Nicole’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic. Her caring and nonjudgmental style fosters an atmosphere of acceptance, self-compassion, and positive change, empowering clients to build healthier relationships with themselves and others. With nearly twenty years of clinical experience, Nicole Messuri is a seasoned therapist dedicated to helping children, adults, couples, and families build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Now based on the East Coast after 24 years in California, Nicole works remotely with clients across both states.
